Brief Description: Elevator painting & gear fairing preparation
I started the day by spray painting the elevators. While the paint was curing I continued with landing gear fairing work. To start with the nose gear leg intersection fairing required an extra thickness along the flange due to the lower cowling air exit support bracket lower plate thickness. So I did a lay up of six plys of eight ounze cloth on the fairing flange.While the epoxy was curing I worked on preparing various other fairings for primer/filler.
